2025 POFPS Awards
The POFPS is now accepting nominations for there 2025 POFPS Awards. This a great way to honor your fellow osteopathic family physicians. The four awards with criteria and nomination form is below.
Deadline for nominations is FRIDAY APRIL 6, 2025. The awards committee will review all nominations and may contact yourself or the nominee for more information. The awards will be presented during the POFPS Business Meeting as a part of the 50th POFPS CME Symposium in 2025 .

POFPS FAMILY PHYSICIAN OF THE YEAR
Presented in recognition of outstanding service to the profession.
Specific attributes including but not limited to:

Demonstrates selfless acts of service to the profession

Demonstrates the characteristics of the ideal family physician including but not limited to empathy, patient-centered care and respect for the profession

Advocates for the profession and their patients on local, state and or national level

Practices Family Medicine using the principals of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine

Promotes and preserves the integrity of the osteopathic profession
-
Fosters and mentors the next generation of osteopathic physicians

Serves as model of professionalism in their community and profession

Presented in recognition of untiring efforts to promote the art of family practice and to preserve the integrity of the osteopathic profession.
